About Us
Black Capped Designs was started by Michael Rice in order to offer a quick and affordable option for web design. The name comes from one of his pet parrots, a Black Capped Caique. Our first client came from reading over a proposal for the company Michael’s father was working for at that time for two websites. The proposal was asking for 2 weeks per website when they were looking to have a site up yesterday. Michael gave his thoughts on the proposal on Monday morning and was 90% ready to launch a new site by Friday evening with only 7.5 billable hours put into the project.
